This cozy spot at 151 Elizabeth St expertly blends comfort with culinary creativity, offering a thoughtfully curated menu that elevates classic morning dishes into memorable experiences.
The charm of Egg Shop lies not only in its inviting, homey décor but also in its masterful approach to eggs—a humble ingredient transformed into a gourmet delight. For those craving a spicy kick, the Sausage Egg & Cheese sandwich is a standout with spicy maple sausage from Meat Hook, melted cheddar, and a touch of harissa on a soft brioche roll. The menu goes beyond sandwiches, showcasing dishes like the Turkish Eggs, celebrated for their delicate poached eggs layered with creamy tzatziki, crisp cucumbers, and a hint of chili — a dish that customers describe as light yet satisfyingly filling.
Egg Shop’s cocktail selection provides the perfect complement to their food. From a zingy Morning Mule infused with vodka, ginger, and orange juice to the decadent Egg Shop White Russian blending oat milk, Kahlua, and espresso, the drinks are crafted with the same care and inventiveness as the kitchen offerings. Whether it’s a classic Bloody Mary with a bacon salt rim or a sparkling Mimosa, the bar elevates the brunch experience with inventive flavors and impeccable execution.

I LOVE the egg shop!!! I come every single time I’m in the city! I was sad they changed the menu a bit but it forced me to try something new and it did not disappoint I got the Turkish eggs and OMG. So light but so filling. Perfect spot for annual birthday brunches
Woah this is a #1 must stop by for breakfast. $15-20 plates and everything tastes fresh and delicious. Peper boy sandwich 5/5- the egg was fluffy and well seasoned. The pepper bacon stood out with umami flavor and had its own texture that wasn’t too crunchy. I added the honey butter sauce to it! This is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. Definitely coming back and this is a must see every time I visit in New York.
I had the truffle hash brown and the Salmon Benny—both were delicious. The service was friendly and quick. The space is quite small, so I’d recommend booking a table in advance, especially on weekends.
Cute breakfast / brunch restaurant that felt very homey with the decor and vibe inside! So many different egg dishes I had a hard time choosing one. Went with the Turkish Eggs which were reeeeeally good. Such an excellent combo of flavors. The eggs were poached perfectly and with the cucumbers and tzatziki it made it a bit tangy. But also some spice from the chili, yum!!! It was a pretty messy-to-eat dish but came with bread so you could soak everything up. Got the Raspberry Iced Tea to drink which was fine. Honestly didn’t really taste much raspberry which was surprising since it was so pink. But it was unsweetened so maybe thats why, still refreshing!
Absolutely delicious brunch. I have been following this restaurant in Instagram for a year now and could not wait to try it. It did NOT disappoint. The place is cozy and the food is amazing. Service was prompt and friendly.
This place was amazing. I got the smoked salmon Benedict. And my sister got a scrambled egg on the gluten-free bread. Which by the way, is amazing. They’re gluten-free bread is so buttery and soft. The meals were amazing, the service was awesome. Ana helped us and she was so sweet and attentive. The atmosphere is very comfy and Chill. I could’ve stayed here all day. The lavender latte is a must try. And the background music for your experience is the icing on the cake. Definitely coming back.
